Unfortunately in our business empty seats mean we don’t get paid. We have had an increase in no show and late cancellations and have no choice but to protect ourselves by introducing service booking fees.
All colour clients will be required to leave 25% of the service booking fee to secure their appointment which will be deducted from the cost of your booked appointment. Any clients with previous no shows/late cancellations will also be required to pay a 25% service booking fee.
Multiple no shows may require you to make full payment of your booked service to secure an appointment.
Our talented team takes the utmost care when performing your colour services, they take care in providing you services they are highly trained in whilst using professional colour and products. For the optimum results to continue long term, how you treat your hair at home is important. Hair Retreat can not guarantee lasting results if you use unsuitable products in your hair or if you regularly swim.
If you have previously had any sensitivity or reactions to any colour service please inform us, we would recommend a sensitivity patch test before any full colour appointment.
If for any reason you are not happy with your hair please contact us within a week of your colour service and Hair Retreat will endeavor to fix any issues or replace the product for you at no charge (please do not confuse this courtesy with changing your mind. If your request is reasonable, we will do what we can to fix any error in quality). As per Small Business and the Competition & Consumers Act.
All details given to Hair Retreat are kept confidential and are for our records only. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988, we will not pass on your information and everything is kept strictly in our systems. Permission will always be sought to take your photo for our social media before posting any images.
Confirmation messages are sent out 72 hours prior to your appointment. Please respond to these messages with a ‘Y’ to confirm you are coming or a ‘N’ if you can’t make it.
To reschedule please contact the salon on 5443 4245. If you do not respond within 48 hours to your appointment we will contact you for confirmation. Failure to confirm your appointment may result in your appointment being removed/filled.
CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS
Our business can not continue to absorb the costs of late cancellations and no shows. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment or do not show up to your appointment your booking fee will be forfeited. In the case of you not having paid a booking fee, a 50% payment of the missed appointment will be required before you can book in at the salon again. We send out a reminder text 72 hrs before your appointment; please use this time to make a change to any appointments.
We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences to prevent abuse of the policy. Our goal is to be preventative to protect and accommodate our valued clients.
Every head of hair is unique to itself and requires its own plan. We do not have one size fits all pricing and prices are subject to change without notice. All website prices are priced ‘from’ as pricing varies from head to head, if you wish to obtain a quote specifically set out for you please reach out to the salon for a free consultation/hair plan.
At Hair Retreat we try to deliver you with a pampering experience while delivering you with great results. To achieve these results we ask that you are always honest during your consultation, there is no judgment, just external factors that may affect our work and how colour may process on your hair, to achieve great results we need to know what we are working with.
If you are scheduled for a colour service, please avoid wearing white or high collared tops, although we take the utmost care when performing our services we do not take responsibility for any clothing or personal items.
Children are welcome in the salon, however please be mindful of our other guests enjoying their services and the small salon space by doing your best to keep children seated.
