Hair Retreat
From our first meeting we strive to offer 110% every time! A free hair consult, where we listen to what you want, followed by a friendly, passionate and dedicated service. No one knows your hair better than you and with all our individual hairdressers we have a personality that is guaranteed to suit everyone. Unbeknown to many we even have staff that specialise in pensioner blow waves, setting and perming. IF we do misinterpret your hair dreams and get it wrong we pride ourselves on being approachable so you can feel free to let us know. We would be disappointed if you didn’t!
We love our staff, we love our clients and we wouldn’t do anything to your hair that we wouldn’t be happy walking out with ourselves. We have an amazing range of hair care products including Milkshake and Eleven Australia. Both being Australian companies offering cruelty free, paraben free recyclable packaged products, offering a range of vegan friendly options as well. We also sell the amazing Floractive cutting edge repair and straightening systems.
In a small, modest building that has been a salon for more than 55 years we are waiting for you to come and join our fun! Marg
Been a hairdresser for 43 years and counting! How has she stayed in the industry so long you may ask? Marg loves the satasification of making her clients happy with every creation of a new or improved style. Marg specializes in wavy hair cutting, “this was something I was given the opportunity to be taught by some very talented hairdressers”. Marg is also one of our perming gurus she loves that you can see a vast difference from straight to curly! Fun fact about Marg she was the owner of this very salon for 27 years and has been walking through the door here for 39 years!

Riki
Riki has been part of Hair Retreat for over 10 years! Starting at the salon as a regular and loyal guest fast forward to now and Riki is one of our very talented emerging stylists. We were so lucky with Riki that she just fell into place when we needed her, however she had to convince us that she actually wanted to do hairdressing after all her years having a successful nursing career. That she did and then she took the plunge! Riki continues to impress, as her passion now is learning and mastering all the technical aspects of hairdressing.
